How Credits Work

A standard backtest costs exactly one credit. The wallet refills on two rhythms — a small drip every day, and a bigger grant every month.

Your balance lives right under the Run button: CREDITS 27 / 30 with a small bar. The first number is what you can spend right now; the second is your wallet cap — the most your wallet can hold.

Credits arrive two ways. A daily drip lands at midnight, your local time — and if you're away for a few days, the missed drips catch up the moment you return. A monthly grant arrives once a calendar month, on every plan.

Both flow into the same wallet, and unused credits pool up to the cap — so quiet weeks quietly fund heavy research days. Once the wallet is full, the drip pauses until you spend some.

The numbers by plan — monthly grant / daily drip / cap: Free 10 / 3 / 30 · Basic 100 / 20 / 300 · Pro 200 / 40 / 600 · Premium 500 / 100 / 1,500.

Only pressing Run Backtest spends a credit. Reopening a saved card's full report and reading guides are always free. And without any account at all, you still get 3 free runs a day.

Next to Run there's a Draw switch. Standard costs one credit and draws from the whole vault. Rare+ costs ten credits and draws only from cards graded Rare or better — the same vault and the same honest scores, just with the lower shelves skipped.

Ten isn't a markup — roughly one vault card in ten is Rare or better, so the guaranteed draw is priced at what those odds already cost on average. It buys certainty and time, not a better strategy than the vault holds.

If a combo has no Rare-or-better card in stock, the run stops before any credit is spent — you'll see a notice instead of a card. The Rare+ draw needs an account (it spends credits; the free signed-out runs don't have any).

Need more than the daily rhythm gives you? Top-up packs add credits instantly — 100 for $10, 200 for $18, 500 for $40 — and they play by different rules than the free flow.

Purchased credits ignore the wallet cap entirely. Buy a 200 pack while your wallet reads 500 / 600 and it becomes 700 / 600 — the meter shows the honest number, and every credit stays spendable. They also never expire, and the meter always spends your free credits first, so the ones you paid for are the last to go.

The quickest way there: open the PAGE menu and click your credit gauge.

If you move to a smaller plan, the free side of a wallet holding more than the new cap is trimmed down to it — purchased credits are never touched, on any plan change. Nothing here is financial advice; credits meter backtests, nothing else.
